Notes for traveling:
- Be sure to make a careful plan including the route, the
places you want to visit and the hotels you intend to stay
in. Bring with you the maps of the cities you plan to visit
and relative boat and train schedules
- Take along with you a medical kit in case of emergencies.
- When traveling in forests, deep caves and other remote
areas, make sure you have at least a partner with you. Never
visit such places alone.
- Remember to show enough respect for the customs of the
native people, especially the customs of the native minority
nationality people.
- Pay close attention to what you eat and drink.
- Buses and taxis in China are usually not equipped with
baby seats and wheelchair accessibility so travelers with
disabilities, elderly travelers and people traveling with
children may find that public transport poses a challenge.
