Shedding Light On Trade Strategies
Fremont, California, November 14, 2001 - Presenting a very ambitious proposition, a delegation from Guizhou Province, China met today with CHINAnUSA.com to discuss the possible transformation from one of the least developed provinces to a technically and technologically immersed commercial area. Located inland and in mountainous terrain, Guizhou has struggled to maintain economic stability in the past. Eager to become more adapt to technology, and international trade, the 12-member delegation presented their hopes for future development.
Mr. Jerry Shih, CEO and founder of CHINAnUSA.com, cautioned in the level of preparation which needs to go into a project of this magnitude. “The level of success achieved is a direct result of the amount and quality of planning accomplished”, indicated Mr. Shih. “You must have an understanding of what the U.S. market demands before you can begin to plan properly”, Mr. Shih explained as he went on to point out the expertise and experience CHINAnUSA.com can offer. Mr. Shih proceeded to present examples of the various marketing and e-commerce projects in numerous industries already underway. “Located in the Silicon Valley, we have a firm understanding on the upcoming trends in technology and e-commerce,” said Mr. Shih, “and can use this knowledge to benefit overseas supplier new to the U.S. market.”
Members of the delegation, including the Director of the Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Township Enterprises, Xiaoming Fang welcomed CHINAnUSA.com’s suggestions and recommendations for planning of future e-commerce and trade promotion projects. Offering services to oversee and coordinate these types of projects, CHINAnUSA.com fulfils a void in “know-how”, which is often faced by many groups eager to establish trade with the U.S. Having identified an ally in their quest for cross-border expansion, the Guizhou delegation looks forward to the opportunity of exploring and reaping the benefits CHINAnUSA.com can provide. Talks are scheduled to continued towards an agreement for planning and implementing e-commerce strategies over the next year.
This being the first of what is poised to be an ongoing effort, to be closely coordinated between both parties, set a positive and encouraging tone. Despite, the delegation’s return to Wuxi, discussions will remain underway towards establishing a project focused on promoting commerce and trade.
